Future Retech is a small UK company giving good tech a second life. We refurbish, test, and warranty every unit that leaves our Manchester warehouse.
Why we exist
Roughly 50 million tonnes of electronic waste hit UK landfills each year, most of it perfectly working kit that was replaced because a newer model came out. Meanwhile, buying "new" often means paying £1,000+ for a phone that does exactly what a two-year-old one does.
Future Retech sits in the gap. We buy back kit that would otherwise become e-waste, restore what needs restoring, test what needs testing, and sell it on with a real warranty at a real discount.
What we actually do
Every unit that comes into our warehouse gets:
- Full 72-point technical inspection (screen, ports, battery, camera, speakers, buttons)
- Deep clean of the chassis and screen
- Factory reset and full data wipe (we're ADISA-certified for data destruction)
- Battery health check with the actual figure documented on the listing
- Cosmetic grading from A+ to C by two independent inspectors
- Fresh photos of the actual unit (no stock photos on the site — every image is real)
What we don't do
No mystery boxes. No "graded" items that were never really graded. No stock photos passed off as the item you'll receive. No warranty upsells at checkout. No subscription tiers.
